Child Care Center: Preschool Assistant Teacher Graduate Assistant
Graduate Assistantship: Full time, Monday through Friday preferably 8:30 -2:00 (paid at an hourly rate when exceeding the GA requirements).

Job Description: This person serves as the Assistant Teacher of one of our Preschool classrooms. He/she is part of the Teaching team and is involved in the day to day operation of the program.
This position provides practical classroom experience that will extend the professional skills of the applicant as well as make him/her more marketable upon graduation.
Job Functions/Responsibilities:
*Implement the daily program.
*Direct and supervise classroom aides.
*Assist the Director and Lead Teacher with designated duties.
*Communicate with parents about their children and the program.
Desired Qualifications:
*PA Teaching Certification in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Special Education.
*Leadership and supervision skills.
*Strong work ethic.
Graduate Student Outcomes:
*Lesson planning and record keeping.
*Communication with parents and children.
*Classroom management techniques.
*Supervision and mentoring of undergraduate students.
Supervisor's Expectations:
